Brenda Goble remains the only women's volleyball coach in Rose-Hulman history.  Goble has led the Rose-Hulman volleyball program through a steady pattern of progress, culminated with a school-record 17 victories and her first conference Coach of the Year honor in 2001.

She also served as the women's tennis coach at Rose-Hulman from 2000-07, helping lead the team to a record setting performance and a second-place finish in the HCAC in 2007.

After leading the inaugural 1996 squad to three victories, Goble led the Engineer volleyball squad to 11 wins in 1997 and 15 victories in 1999.  The Engineers won 16 matches in 2000 before finishing a program-best fourth in the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference and earning 17 victories in 2001.  The 2003 team also won 16 matches and finished sixth in the league.  Both her 2003 and 2004 squads finished 7-11 in the competitive SCAC.  Last season, the Engineers improved their win total to 12 on the season, highlighted by a 10-3 start.
