Tim Bennetts enters his second season as the head men's golf coach and begins his fourth year on the men's basketball coaching staff this season.

Bennetts helped lead the Engineer men's golf team to a fifth place finish in the 2008 Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference championships to cap his first season as head coach on the links.

Prior to coming to Rose-Hulman, Bennetts served as a head coach and player at various levels in his native New Zealand.

As a player, Bennetts played for a high school team that finished seventh in the nation. He then coached two years at successful Middleton Grange H.S., before serving as as an assistant for the Canterbury Rams semipro team.

Bennetts also earned a master's degree in sports coaching at Indiana State University in May 2007.
