TERRE HAUTE, IND. -- Rose-Hulman Institute of
Technology relied on a complete game three-hitter by sophomore
Jordan Goslee (St. Joseph, Mich.) and a solid offensive
effort to earn a softball twinbill split against Greenville
College on Tuesday.
Goslee's effort included nine strikeouts to
increase her season total to 94 in 67 innings of work.
Offensively, sophomore Kristin Greer (Batavia,
Ohio) led the Engineers with a towering two-run home run in
the second inning.
Sophomore Brittany Bernthold (Fisherville,
Ky./Eastern) slapped three singles and scored two runs,
while sophomore Darcie Thomas (Brighton, Mich.) added an
RBI double for the offense. Senior Katie Frey (Cedar
Grove/Franklin County) pitched in with a two-RBI single.
In game one, Greenville scored one run in the first, second
and fourth innings and relied on a seven-hit shutout from Amanda
Davison to earn the win.
For Rose-Hulman, senior Katie Maggard (Floyds
Knobs/Floyd Central) tossed the complete game in the circle
and recorded a career-high 10 strikeouts. Maggard
scattered nine hits with no walks in the effort.

Greenville has a 9-10 record. The Engineers return
