Rose-Hulman News Jordan Goslee Named HCAC Pitcher of the Week

Jordan Goslee -- HCAC Pitcher of the Week

TERRE HAUTE, IND. -- Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology sophomore Jordan Goslee (St. Joseph, Mich.) has been named Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Pitcher of the Week for her efforts on Sunday.

Goslee snapped her own school record with 13 strikeouts in a 2-1 complete game victory over Blackburn College on Sunday.

In the victory, Goslee scattered four hits with one walk and one unearned run allowed.  The 13-strikeout performance marked the third time in her career that the standout pitcher has reached double figures in strikeouts.

Goslee joins senior pitcher Katie Maggard (Floyds Knobs/Floyd Central) as an award winner in the HCAC Pitcher of the Week contest this season.

Goslee stands 2-1 with a 1.62 earned run average for an Engineer team that has a school record 8-2 start to the season.  The Engineers return to action with their league opener at Transylvania University on Saturday.
