TERRE HAUTE, IND. – St. Francis University topped
the Rose-Hulman men's tennis team 8-1 in a non-conference
matchup at the Joy Hulbert Tennis Center on Sunday.
Freshman Michael Schoumacher (Memphis, Tenn.)
provided the Engineer victory with a 4-6, 6-3, 1-0 victory
in No. 6 singles action. Schoumacher captured the
third-set super tiebreak by a 14-12 margin.
Rose-Hulman dropped to 3-5 on the season and
travels to the Kerry Seward Invitational at Wabash College next weekend.
