TERRE HAUTE, IND. -- For the second consecutive
week, the Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology men's cross
country team has earned a regional ranking from the United
States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association of
America.
The Engineers are ranked 10th in the NCAA
Division III Great Lakes Region after earning their first
Invitational victory in eight seasons on Oct. 4 at Earlham
College.
Senior Stephen Boedicker (Delaware, Ohio/Olentangy
Liberty) took top honors in the men’s eight kilometer race
at Earlham with a winning time of 26:40 to pace Rose-Hulman.
The team topped perennial Great Lakes Region power Otterbein
College to win the meet.
The Engineers picked up three more top ten finishes as senior
Ian Thomas (Penville/Jay County) placed third in a time of
26:52, sophomore David Caldwell (Plymouth) seventh in
27:12, and freshman Micah Aldrich (Indianapolis/Warren
Central) eighth with a time of 27:16.
Rose-Hulman returns to action at the Wilmington
College Invitational this Friday.
