COMPLETE RESULTS
RICHMOND, IND. -- The Rose-Hulman men’s cross
country team captured the Earlham Invitational title on Saturday
afternoon at Earlham College.
The Engineers won the meet by scoring 32
points, besting second play Otterbein College who finished with 35 points. It
is the first invitational victory for Rose-Hulman cross country since the 2000
team took top honors at the Principia Invitational.
Senior Stephen Boedicker (Delaware, Ohio/Olentangy
Liberty) took top honors in the men’s 8k race with a winning time of 26:40
to pace Rose-Hulman.
The Engineers picked up three more top ten
finishes as senior Ian Thomas (Penville/Jay County) placed third in a
time of 26:52, sophomore David Caldwell (Plymouth) seventh in 27:12, and
freshman Micah Aldrich (Indianapolis/Warren Central) eighth with a time
of 27:16.
The Rose-Hulman cross country teams will
compete again on October 17 at 4:30 PM, when they travel to Wilmington, Ohio for
the Wilmington Fall Classic.
