Men's Cross Country Team Finishes 10th to Match 2005 Performance at Indiana Intercollegiates

Stephen Boedicker led the Engineers with a time of 27:19 for 26th place.

TERRE HAUTE, IND. -- The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology men's cross country team matched its 2005 performance with a 10th place finish in the 18-team Indiana Intercollegiate Meet on Friday at the LaVern Gibson Course.

Sophomore Stephen Boedicker (Delaware, Ohio/Olentangy Liberty) led the Engineers with a 26th place finish in the Little State portion of the meet with a time of 27:19. 

Junior Matt Repking (Effingham, Ill./Teutopolis) came home 28th in a time of 27:25.  Freshman Kyle Beaty (Needham/Triton Central) came home third among Rose-Hulman runners and 75th overall in a time of 28:44.

The performance matched Rose-Hulman's best effort in the Little State Championships since 1990, the result achieved in 2005.

The Engineers return to action at the Otterbein Invitational on Sept. 23.
