LEXINGTON, KY. --
Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology placed third in the
Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference women's golf
championships for the second best league finish in program
history.
Sophomore Bailey
Wagner
(South Bend, Ind./Laville) recorded a top 10 finish with
rounds of 89 and 88 to place 10th overall.
Senior Stephanie
Harrington (Houston, Texas/Cinco Ranch) and junior Allison
Luther (Beach Park, Ill.) shared 12th place with two-day
scores of 180. Harrington fired a pair of scores of
90, while Luther had an 86 on Sunday to highlight her
performance.
Junior Lindsey
Gault (Canton, Ohio/Glen Oak) rounded out the team score
with rounds of 95 and 98 for 22nd place.
The team finish
marks the second best conference performance in women's golf
history at Rose-Hulman. The 2007 squad placed second
overall in the league meet.
