Harrington Top Five Leads Engineers at Franklin

Stephanie Harrington won the Manchester Invitational.

FRANKLIN, IND. -- Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology sophomore Stephanie Harrington (Katy, Texas/Cinco Ranch) earned her fifth top-five finish in eight events this season to cap the Engineer women's golf campaign at the Legends of Indiana Course on Sunday.

Harrington fired a round of 81, including a back-nine score of 39, to place fifth in the field of 42 golfers. Her efforts included two individual event wins and seven top-10 finishes this year.

Senior Amelia Dasovich (St. Paul, Minn.) came home second among Engineers and 19th overall with a score of 94.

Rose-Hulman returns to action with its fall season beginning in September. The Engineers will serve as the host for the 2008 Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference championships at Hulman Links Golf Course in October.
