Stephanie Harrington came home
second at Manchester. |
WABASH, IND. --
Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology relied on two top-three
finishes to take second-place honors at the Manchester
College Women's Golf Invitational on Saturday.
Sophomore Stephanie
Harrington (Katy, Texas/Cinco Ranch)
earned runner-up honors in the tournament with a 79, just
two shots behind reigning All-American Katie Tewell of
Franklin.
Senior Amelia Dasovich
(St. Paul, Minn.) finished two shots behind Harrington and in
third place with a score of 81.
Freshman Lindsey
Gault (Canton, Ohio) added an 11th place finish with a
score of 96 for the Engineers.
Rose-Hulman returns to
action at the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference
Championships on Oct. 12-13.
