  Rose-Hulman News Engineers Remain In 5th After Second Round at HCAC Championships
 

Coy McNew fired a second round score of 81 to pace the Engineers and stands tied for 20th overall.

RESULTS THROUGH ROUND TWO

SEYMOUR, IND. -- The Rose-Hulman men's golf team remains in 5th place after the second round of play at the HCAC Championships at Shadowood Golf Course.

The Engineers shot 325 as a team to bring their total team score to 654, just seven strokes behind fourth place Manchester.

Junior Coy McNew (Richmond), sophomore Brian Kiraly (Granger), and freshman Brett Highley (McCordsville) all fired rounds of 81 to lead the Engineers in the second round.

Kiraly stands tied for 17th place to pace the Engineers with a two day total of 161, while McNew stands tied for 20th just one stroke back with a 162.

The 72-hole event will conclude next weekend in Fort Wayne at Chestnut Hills Golf Course.
