overall with a two-day 167. |
NORTH BEND, OHIO -- Rose-Hulman Institute of
Technology finished third of six teams at the challenging Mount
St. Joseph Invitational on Saturday and Sunday.
Junior Coy McNew (Richmond) paced the
Engineer effort with a two-day total of 167 for eighth place.
McNew shot rounds of 86 and 81 in the event.
Sophomore Brian Kiraly (Granger) added a
14th place finish with rounds of 84 and 88. Senior Ryan Mitchell (Fishers)
also added an 18th place finish with rounds of 87 and 88.
The tournament concluded a busy week that
consisted of 128 holes of golf for the Engineer squad on its
academic break. Rose-Hulman played the Brickyard at the
Crossing, the Terre Haute Country Club, Idle Creek Golf Course
and the Hanover Invitational prior to the weekend tourney.
Rose-Hulman returns to action at the Manchester
College Invitational next Saturday.
