Harrington, Dasovich Earns Historic All-League Honors; Harrington Freshman of Year as Rose Places 5th in HCAC

Stephanie Harrington -- HCAC Freshman of the Year and third place for all-league honors.

WARSAW, IND. -- Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology freshman Stephanie Harrington (Katy, Texas/ Cinco Ranch) and junior Amelia Dasovich (St. Paul, Minn.) earned the first all-conference honors in the history of women's golf at the college to propel the Engineers to a fifth-place finish in the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference championships on Friday and Saturday.

Harrington placed third overall in the two-day event with a score of 169, including the third-best round of the tournament with a score of 81 on Saturday.  She also earned HCAC Freshman of the Year honors after tallying the lowest score among college newcomers in the event.

Amelia Dasovich -- All-HCAC honoree after a sixth-place finish.

Dasovich recorded a sixth-place finish with a two-day tally of 176, highlighted by a round of 85 on Saturday.  The efforts helped Rose-Hulman join only Manchester and Anderson as teams with multiple all-league honorees at the championship.

Rose-Hulman's overall effort netted a fifth-place in the eight-team field, the best conference finish for the Engineers in their women's golf history.
