Women's Golf Team Finishes 4th of 7 Teams at Centre
HANOVER, IND. -- The
Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology women's golf team
placed fourth of seven teams at the Centre College Invitational on
Thursday.
Senior Katie Hamstra (Indianapolis/Park Tudor) and freshman Stephanie Harrington (Katy, Texas) led Rose-Hulman's effort with rounds of 91 and 11th place finishes in a field of 38 golfers. Hamsstra shot 49 on the front nine and 42 on the back, while Harrington finished with a 44 on the front nine and 47 on the back.
Engineer junior Amelia
Dasovich (St. Paul, Minn.) finished in 17th place and just one
shot behind Hamstra and Harrington with a round of 92.
Rose-Hulman returns to action at the
Manchester Invitational on Sept. 30.
