Women's Golf Team Finishes 3rd,
HANOVER, IND. -- Rose-Hulman
Institute of Technology freshman women's golfer Stephanie
Harrington (Katy, Texas) finished second at the Hanover College
Women's Golf Invitational to pace the team's third-place finish on
Saturday and Sunday.
Harrington shot an opening round 83 at Spring Hills Golf Course in Hanover on Saturday and added a round of 89 at the Sunrise Falls Golf Course in Madison on Sunday. The second place individual and third place team finishes mark the best women's golf individual performance in the history of the Engineer program.
Engineer junior Amelia
Dasovich (St. Paul, Minn.)
provided depth to the performance with a seventh-place performance
with a two-day score of 181.
Rose-Hulman returns to action at the
Centre College Invitational on Thursday.
