WINCHESTER, TENN. -- Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology and Sewanee played to a 4-4 tie in the Engineer men's golf spring season opener on Sunday.

The match-play format featured victories for senior Ryan Robinson (Danville) and juniors Jeff Pekarek (Solon, Ohio) and Ryan Mitchell (Fishers). 

Sophomore Coy McNew (Richmond) and freshman Brian Kiraly played even matches to secure an overall tie in the effort.

Rose-Hulman returns to action at the Millikin Invitational on March 17-18.
