TERRE HAUTE, IND. --
Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology junior Reed Eason (St.
Louis, Mo./Parkway North) was named to the d3football.com
National Team of the Week after a record setting performance in
Saturday's 34-21 win over Franklin.
Eason became the first
player in school history to gain more than 200 yards receiving
in a game with 15 catches for 225 yards and two touchdowns.
The 15 receptions also
ranked second on Rose-Hulman's all-time single-game list.
In
addition, Eason booted six punts at a 34.7 yard average
per kick with three kicks inside the Franklin 20-yard line to earn
the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Special Teams Player of the Week honor.
Rose-Hulman stands 5-4
overall on the season and can cap its fourth consecutive winning
season with a win at Anderson on Saturday.
