Rose-Hulman 24, Earlham 17

The Rose-Hulman Fightin' Engineers march onto the field as the returning champions of Battle of the Border Sword game with the sword as the traveling trophy.

Freshman quarterback Derek Eitel started for the Engineers and completed 13 for 23 with 134 yards and a forty yard passing touchdown to junior Jared Moore.

Sophomore running back Tim Schrock darts through a hole scoring the first touch down of the game.  Schrock ran for 62 yards on the game in 18 touches.

Senior Tim Wilson (51-on bottom) and junior Austin Hastings (53) led the Engineer defense with a combined 15 tackles in the game, Wilson with a team leading seven solo and nine total tackles.

The Rose-Hulman student body showed their support, all wearing white shirts for the "Student White Out Day"

Junior Brandon Nance breaks away for a 23 yard run.  Nance, Schrock and sophomore Bryan Wong combined for 138 yards.

Sophomore Nate Richter breaks a tackle after one of his three receptions on the day, for 28 yards receiving.  Richter also returned all four of the Engineer kickoffs with 50 return yards.
