Pitcher J.J. Mathews comes in relief of Jeremy Williams of Otterbein and throws seven and two thirds innings of shutout ball on four hits and a pair of strikeouts.

Starter Adam Stone threw eight and a third innings, allowing three runs, two earned, on six hits and four strikeouts.

First baseman Bobby Wright hit one for three with a pair of walks and scored the go ahead run in the eleventh inning.

Left fielder and later pitcher Bobby Rickstad batted three for five with an RBI double to centerfield and another RBI on a single through the left side.  He also pitched two thirds innings of no hit ball.

Second baseman Todd Meyers hit two for four and scored the first Bulldog run of the game in the first inning off a single by Rickstad.

Right fielder Jerry Tulga pulls in one of five putouts in the game.

Catcher Chris Martin batted two for four including the game winning RBI single up the middle in the eleventh inning.

Wright is greeted by teammates as the Cardinals take the 4-3 lead.

Catcher Chad Baas blasted an RBI single down the left field line in the fourth inning, scoring Rickstad.

Center fielder Ryan Sulek pulls in a long fly by the warning track, one of his six putouts in the game.

Baas of the Bulldogs blocks off home plate from opposing Cardinal catcher Chris Martin attempting to add some insurance runs in the eleventh.

Wright reaches out to grab the final out as the Cardinals pull out an extra inning close game from the Bulldogs with the final score of 4-3 after 11 inn.

Otterbein players celebrate the win after a 2 hour and 40 minute game.
