Bobby Wright of Otterbein pitched eight innings with two runs on five hits, fanning three.

First baseman Kyle Dyar hit a solo home run of the left center scoreboard, hitting two of four on the day.

Right fielder Brandon Watson of the Blue Jays pulls in a line drive and had three putouts on the day.  Watson also hit an RBI single to right field in the tenth to put Elizabethtown up by three.

Second baseman Mike Griffin drove in the go ahead run in the seventh, putting the Cardinals up, 3-2.

A strong throw by Chris Martin of Otterbein gets center fielder Mike Donahue of Elizabethtown out at second attempting to steal.

Pitcher Trevor Horn took his second loss of the season after giving up a homerun on his first pitch.  He walked one and struck out one in his one and two thirds innings of work.

On the first pitch he saw, third baseman Dean Whetham blasted a towering solo shot over the Rose-Hulman scoreboard, tying the game in the top of the ninth.  Whetham hit 3 for 4 on the day with an RBI, two runs and a walk.

With two outs in the bottom of the ninth, the Blue Jays brought in closer Matt Woehnker who received the win on one and a third scoreless innings on a pair of hits.

A strong throw by Blue Jays left fielder Ryan White, an accurate relay second baseman Adam Sheibley, and a good tag by catcher Jared Auman kept Otterbein scoreless in the ninth, as the Cardinals attempted to advance Griffin home from second, ending the ninth.

A two RBI triple by shortstop Jon Kalejta put the Blue Jays up to stay in the top of the tenth.  Kalejta hit two for five on the day with four RBIs and one run scored.

Sheibley turns the double play from Kalejta to end the upset victory for the Blue Jays.

Final score after ten innings, 7-3.
