Club Seats, Dugouts, Press Box Among Improvements
at Rose-Hulman's Art Nehf Field

Club Seats Still Available for Purchase!  Click Here for Details

Individual club seats and a new press box highlight the recent upgrade.

TERRE HAUTE, IND. -- Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology has completed a significant renovation to its baseball facility that makes Art Nehf Field one of the top NCAA Division III playing fields in the nation.

The upgrade included the installation of stadium club seats, a new and expanded press box, enlarged dugouts, and a new infield playing surface area.

Major League length dugouts provide plenty of room for players.

Club seats will allow fans to permanently purchase an individual, stadium-like seat to enjoy Rose-Hulman baseball this season and in the future.  The seat includes a cup holder and significant leg and arm room.

The new press box contains separate rooms for radio announcers and coaches interviews.

The press box features a separate radio room and an interview room for tournament play.  The depth of the press box allows for a row of expansion if necessary.

In addition, the base of the press box serves several purposes.  The base houses an umpire changing room and shower, along with the facilities for an expanded concession stand.

Artificial turf protects the circle around home plate.

The newly constructed dugouts match Major League dimensions and are suitable for an entire roster of more than 40 players.  Rose-Hulman's dugouts feature improved depth, width, drainage and storage.

A new infield playing surface featuring a state-of-the-art drainage system has been included in the upgrade.  The area immediately surrounding home plate features several inches of turf, allowing players to clean their cleats from mud or grass.

The dugouts provide plenty of room for players and equipment.

The Rose-Hulman baseball team is off to its best start to a season in school history, including 13 consecutive wins to open the 2004 season.
