Rose-Hulman Ventures Launches New Web Site

Rose-Hulman Ventures announced on
February 13, 2004 the launching of its new Web site - www.rhventures.org. On the redesigned site, Rose-Hulman Ventures summarizes its efforts to partner with entrepreneurs, colleges and universities, incubators, communities and governments in technology-based businesses while promoting educational opportunities for Rose-Hulman and other college students.

The site details services that Rose-Hulman Ventures provides to enable innovative technology entrepreneurs to succeed: technical expertise, business planning, incubator services and venture capital. Designed with entrepreneurs in mind, the site showcases the successes of Rose-Hulman Ventures’ clients and also reinforces its ties with Indiana’s universities and communities.

Jim Eifert president of Rose-Hulman Ventures said, “The new site serves as a primary resource for those who are thinking of starting a technology-based business, working for one or investing in a new start-up company or a spin-off from an existing business.”

Dee Reed, marketing coordinator of Rose-Hulman Ventures said, “Utilizing the latest Web design technology, the site is dynamic, engaging and well organized. In addition to streamlined navigation, the website also features videos, resources for entrepreneurs and an online subscription to the Rose-Hulman Ventures newsletter. The redesigned site enables us to easily promote news and immediately highlight the successes of our clients.”

“Business incubation is still largely a mystery to most people. The new web site helps to clarify expectations and relationships with entrepreneurs, students and other constituents. Visitors will gain insight to our philosophy and expertise,” said Reed.

The redesign and restructuring resulted from a research process involving input from clients, staff, students, economic development leaders and representatives from the technology community.

The new web site is a new major component of the Rose-Hulman Ventures’ integrated marketing strategy. The strategy is to consistently communicate our message and identity through our publications, advertising, e-newsletter, special events and now through the Web site, added Reed.
