Year: |
2008 Graduate |

Spring, Texas |
| Major: |
Biomedical Engineering |
| Favorite Class: |
Tissue and Biomaterial Interactions with Dr. Dee. |
| Why?: |
Learning about the body's responses to foreign objects and what factors are important to consider for designing engineered tissues and implants was amazing.
Dr. Dee is one of my favorite professors; she makes the material interesting, gets excited about it (which makes it easier to learn), and also challenges us to think outside the box. The combination of her teaching and the
material being so interesting made the class the best one I've taken here at Rose, hands down. |

Liked it?
|
Loved it. The work was a little tedious at times, but working at a place like NIH where there are so many brilliant people around you was amazing. Plus, we (16 interns) did a lot of sight-seeing. |
