The Office of Communications and Marketing staff is also responsible for working with local, state and federal government leaders regarding legislative issues and funding sources of importance to Rose-Hulman.
 
This effort includes encouraging government officials to promote Rose-Hulman's leadership role in private higher education and providing support for funding requests from federal, state or local sources. Government leaders are encouraged to utilize the expertise of Rose-Hulman faculty, staff and alumni during discussions about important engineering or scientific issues.
