Nonlinear optics

   Research Activities:
-Characterization of the nonlinear and linear optical properties of materials and novel structures    for photonics applications.
-Fabrication methods of both nonlinear and linear devices using ultrafast optical techniques.
-Optical design of compact and light weight optical devices using polymer spherical GRIN lenses.
    Industrial Experience:
-National Research Council (NRC) Postdoctoral Fellow at the Naval Research Laboratory (NRL) in the Optical Science Division (2004-2006)
