The Rose-Hulman
Jazz Ensemble exists to
provide an outlet for those
students with an interest in
jazz. The ensemble typically
performs several concerts
each year, both on campus
and in town, including dance
music for the Dance Club and
Engineers-in-Concert. The
ensemble maintains a diverse
library of music, with
styles ranging from 1930's
swing tunes to modern
concert jazz. Rehearsals are
generally one night a week,
and individual sections are
encouraged to meet once a
week for sectional
rehearsals. Membership is by
audition only. Auditions are
open to all Rose-Hulman
students, faculty, staff and
alumni. |
