Membership in IEEE is open to electrical and computer engineering students and to other interested students. IEEE is the professional organization of electrical and computer engineers with over 350,000 members around the world. Its purpose is twofold: the facilitation of knowledge discovery and advancement of the electrical and computer engineering profession. The Rose-Hulman Student Branch regularly hosts a range of professionals from government, education, and industry who lecture on topics of interest in the profession. Student members receive the IEEE Spectrum and IEEE Potentials, two award-wining publications reporting on activities and discoveries in electrical and computer engineering. Upon graduation, students find membership in IEEE grows in value. Visit the IEEE website for more information at www.ieee.org.
