The
Rose-Hulman Chapter of
Habitat for Humanity adopts
the Wabash Valley Chapter's
Mission as its own. Their
mission reads: As God's
working hands, Wabash Valley
Habitat for Humanity has as
its mission the creation of
a vision of hope by working
as a community in
partnership with families to
build needed and affordable
housing. A Habitat house was
constructed on the campus of
Rose-Hulman three years ago,
providing easy access for
students, faculty, and staff
willing to build. The house
rested over the ground on
rails until it was moved to
its permanent home on
February 13, 2006, where it
became home to a local
family. |
