Alpha Phi
Omega is the national
service fraternity promoting
the principles of
leadership, friendship, and
service; it was founded on
the ideals of scouting.
Since the founding in 1925,
Alpha Phi Omega has grown to
over 300 active chapters on
campuses across the nation
and is open to all college
students. Rose-Hulman's Tau
Lambda chapter was founded
in 1968 and provides much
needed service to the
campus, community, and
nation. In addition to
giving students ample
opportunity for service,
Alpha Phi Omega offers a
chance to develop leadership
and build new friendships
through the fraternity's
program. The service program
includes running the campus
Lost and Found located in
the lower level of Percopo
Hall, holding fundraisers
for various local charities,
working at scout camps and
scouting events, and helping
with various campus events,
among other projects.
Members of Rose-Hulman's
chapter often participate in
events throughout the state,
region, and nation. |
