The National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) is the largest student run organization in the country. Its mission is to increase the number of culturally responsible Black engineers who excel academically, succeed professionally and positively impact the community. The Rose-Hulman Chapter of NSBE strives to fulfill this mission by sponsoring trips to NSBE conferences, having professional development workshops and plant trips, providing a Black History Month program, and doing volunteer work. This organization endeavors to provide general counseling and academic guidance to all members. The Rose-Hulman Chapter of NSBE also strives to help enhance diversity on the campus; all races are invited to help fulfill these missions.
