| President Matt Branam, put out the call to Rose-Hulman students |
President Matt Branam Invited Students:
First Student Event
January 27, 2012
You've been hearing about The "Great" Debate - our yearlong
strategic planning process for Rose-Hulman Institute of
Technology. This Debate is about strategies to keep the
Institute moving forward, to adapt to current realities, and to
improve the school for current and future students. However, we
can't accomplish this without hearing from you, our students.
Throughout the year, my goal is to engage in discussions across the
spectrum of our Rose-Hulman community: students, alumni, parents,
employers, faculty, staff, and peer institutions. We are "best in
class" as an institution of higher learning. Now we are defining a
path beyond being "Best" to becoming "Great."

Within our student body are some of the most innovative young
thinkers in the world. By collecting, synthesizing, and sharing
your collective "Great" ideas, Rose-Hulman will rise to meet the
toughest challenges and set a new standard for educating the
engineers, scientists, and mathematicians of the technological
future.
Read more about The "Great" Debate here.
Register now on Angel for our first student session on Thursday, January 26 from 6:00 p.m.- 7:30 P.M in the Kahn Room at the Union. Snacks will be provided. If you can't make this meeting, there will be other "Great" Debate meetings with students in the months ahead. Space is limited and sign ups end as soon as we fill up, so register today.
Thank you for being part of the conversation in the "Great" Debate.
