Greatest Floor Competition Summary 11 - 11:50 a.m., Kahn Rooms, Hulman Student Union Parents are invited to come learn about this year’s “Greatest Floor” competition – a 24-hour, fun-filled campus event conducted in January that got students through the monotony of winter quarter. The winners get to be deemed the “Greatest Floor” for the rest of the year. Highlights included the spirit competition, student-produced music videos, giant word searches, and more. See how your students have fun and are kept busy on campus!

Tours of Rose-Hulman Ventures 11 a.m. to noon, Depart from Hulman Student Union Parents will get a behind-the-scenes look at Rose-Hulman Ventures (RHV), a unique educational program that’s located on Rose-Hulman’s South Campus. You will witness how students and faculty work on real, innovation-stage projects with leading technology-based companies. Over 100 students participate in internships at RHV each year. A bus will leave from the Hulman Union and provide round-trip transportation. Reservations are required. The tour is limited to 20 people. (Session Full)

Engineers without Borders 1 - 1:50 p.m., Kahn Rooms, Hulman Student Union Learn how students have been making a difference to the village of Batey Santa Rosa in the province of Monte Plata in the Dominican Republic. First, they helped convert a sugar cane plantation house into a medical center. Then, starting in 2012, they built latrines to help improve health conditions for local residents. In the future, the student organization plans to work in Rwanda, Tanzania, Uganda, or Nicaragua. Group members will make this presentation. Reservations required—limited to 200 persons.
“The Price is Rite,” 3 - 5:00 p.m., Kahn Rooms, Hulman Student Union Come on down . . . The Student Activities Board will host its popular game show, with selected parents given the chance to win prizes in fun-filled games –just like the real thing! There is no charge, but seating is limited to 300 persons.

The Parents’ Association will present the Joy Hulbert Award to a female member of the campus community for her support to students.

Drama Club Musical, "Chicago" 7:30 p.m., Hatfield Hall Theater In the roaring 20s Chicago, chorine Roxie Hart murders a faithless lover and convinces her hapless husband Amos to take the rap—until he finds out he's been duped and turns on Roxie. Convicted and sent to death row, Roxie and another "Merry Murderess" Velma Kelly vie for the spotlight and the headlines. They ultimately join forces in search of the "American Dream": fame, fortune, and acquittal. This sharp-edged satire features a dazzling score that sparked immortal staging by Bob Fosse. “Chicago” premiered in 1975 and was the hit of the 1997 Broadway season in a production that originated at City Center's Encore! Series. The production won six Tony Awards, including Best Revival, and a film version won the Academy Award as Best Picture.
