Emerging Digital Technologies

The Emerging Digital Technologies department assists faculty, staff and students in producing multimedia projects and web-based resources.  We provide personalized training and access to equipment so that our campus community has both the resources and the skills to produce high-quality multimedia/web-based products.   At the Emerging Digital Technologies department, you can:

• scan nearly anything – from slides to large documents,
• digitize older media to electronic formats,
• obtain advice on choosing technologies for learning and archival purposes,
• receive training in video production and editing, from concept to product,
• receive training in and assistance with webconferencing and webcasting,
• webstream your live campus event,
• get advice and assistance with embedded file types for multimedia and web-based presentations,
• try out or obtain a license for screencapture software,
• borrow an iPad or a tablet computer.
