How to get those ideas off a napkin and into production

If you are an Indiana company with fewer than 100 employees or less than $15 million in annual revenue, you might qualify to participate in the Entrepreneurial Internship Program (EIP). Made possible by a Lilly Foundation grant, EIP allows Rose-Hulman students to work for you during the summer with these objectives in mind:

  • To create a partnership between Rose-Hulman and small, Indiana-based companies;
  • To provide those companies with qualified students to assist with staffing needs during a three-month, full-time summer internship;
  • To provide students a unique educational experience that will offer the chance to learn about business and the process of starting or running a business.

What do you provide?

The program requires that you provide a 40-hour meaningful job to the student, designating a mentor to oversee the intern for the summer. You also agree to pay $14/hour for freshman or sophomore interns or $17/hour for junior or senior interns. Up to 50% of the wage will be refunded to you. After you are approved as an EIP company, you must post your internship on our online system and then you are free to interview applicants and make your own selection.

Please contact Kathy Kassissieh by e-mail or phone: 812-877-8652.
