Special events connect you with potential employers
Networking with employers is very important to your
job search, so we're always on the lookout for ways we can create
useful opportunities for you. Our corporate partners sometimes host
events at football games and other sporting or performing-arts
events. Keep your eyes open for these events, because they always
have networking sessions you can attend!
2012-2013 Events:
September 12th: Join recruiters and alumni from General Electric on the Quad from 11:00am to 2:30pm. Enjoy some pizza and learn about exciting career opportunities with GE. (hiring for ME, EE, CPE, CS, SE, CH, but all are welcome)
September 14th: Garmin, ArcelorMittal and the U.S. Marines sponsor the Career Services Cookout on the Quad. Food, Music and Fun starts at 4:30pm. Meet Career Services and start networking with companies right away!
September 22nd: U.S. Navy sponsors Homecoming football game. Game at 2pm with tailgating at 12:30pm
September 28th: Rockwell Collins sponsors Bella Strings. Show at 8pm, networking from 5:30-7:30pm
September 29th: X by 2 sponsors the annual CSSE Fall Picnic (for CSSE students only)
October 20th: Blackbaud sponsors the Rose-Hulman Day of Service.
November 3rd: ArcelorMittal sponsors the Parents Weekend Game. Game at 1:30pm with tailgating at noon.
December 13th: ArcelorMittal sponsors Up Til Dawn. Letter writing occurs from 6pm to 10pm that night.
February 1st, 2013 : ArcelorMittal sponsors a Euchre Tournament. Watch for more details!
