SimplyWell Upcoming Events

Please note: You must enter your points on SimplyWell's website within 90 days of an event in order to be eligible for the points. You do not have to participate in on-campus activities to earn points. Community events may also count toward wellness events.

Examples of activities that could count as a wellness event:

  • 5k Run/Walk (Sponsored by RHIT or on an individual basis)
  • Athletic Teams (i.e. Basketball, Baseball, Tennis, etc.)
  • Dine-with-a Doc®
  • Family Activities (i.e. hiking, baseball, swimming, etc)
  • Health Fair (Sponsored by RHIT or out in the community)
  • One-day special event (i.e. Zumbathon, Golf Outing, etc.)
  • Online wellness seminars/webinars
  • Massage (on-campus or off-campus)
  • Wellness Seminar/Conference

SimplyWell Activities

Unless otherwise noted, all sessions require registration. Spouses are welcome to attend any event. All sessions are worth 250 SimplyWell points.

Alzheimer's Association: Know the Signs

  • Description: Jordan Barrett, Assistant Director for Intramurals, Club Sports and Special Events, will discuss how faculty and staff can participate in intramurals at Rose-Hulman.

Maintain, Don't Gain Wellness Challenge (8-week challenge)

  • Date: Starts Monday, November 17th (First Weigh-in) through Monday, January 12th (Final Weigh-In)
  • Description: Union Hospital will sponsor a holiday challenge for employees and their spouses. Sessions will held discussing nutrition during the challenge.

Snacking: Yes, it's OK

  • Date: Thursday, November 20
  • Time: 9:50 - 10:40 a.m.
  • Location: Hulman Memorial Union (HMU) - PA Room
  • Description: Tracy Arini, RD, CD, CDE, from Union Hospital, will discuss why snacking is not such a bad thing afterall. This session is part of the Maintain, Don't Gain Wellness Challenge and is worth 250 SimplyWell Wellness Events points.

External Influence on Food Choices & Weight Management
