Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology presented bachelor’s and master’s degrees to 469 students during the 136th commencement on Saturday, May 31. Other members of the Class of 2014 were recognized in anticipation of completing academic degree requirements following the summer or fall academic quarters.
Two distinguished alumni received honorary doctor of engineering degrees: Gregg A. Lowe (Elect. Eng., 1984), president and chief executive officer of Freescale Semiconductor; and the Honorable Robert L. Wilkins (Chem. Eng., 1986), judge of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit.
Members of the Class of 2014 were recognized for academic, leadership, extracurricular activities, and helping make Rose-Hulman a better place.
Meanwhile, faculty and staff members were honored for their teaching, research, and service to the institute.
