Explore Engineering Program Gives Youths Hands-On STEM Experiences
November 1, 2013
Making Connections: Rose-Hulman’s Explore Engineering program gives youths opportunities for hands-on activities in soldering, bridge building, and other exciting activities.
Rose-Hulman Explore Engineering program is planning another fun-filled and educational year that allows youths in grades six through 12 to explore their interests in engineering, science and technology.
Programs will begin on Tuesday, November 5, from 7-8:30 p.m., with Explorers having the opportunity to participate in one of two activities: Introduction to Soldering/Electronic Circuits or Popsicle Bridge Building. There is a $10 participation fee for each meeting.
These programs are being organized by members of Rose-Hulman’s Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers and American Society of Civil Engineering.
Two other activity nights are being planned during the 2013-14 school year.
Registration/liability forms and program information are available by contacting Harold “Soup” Campbell, 812-877-8889.
