Star Physicist Joins Rose-Hulman Homecoming
This year's Homecoming will radiate a special brilliance as Dr.
Michio Kaku, the popular physicist and co-founder of string field
theory, visits the Rose-Hulman campus. Kaku delighted Rose-Hulman
2011 graduates with his virtual commencement address from Russia,
touching on some of his favorite topics -- phasers, force fields
and time travel. On Homecoming weekend, Dr. Kaku will be on campus,
sharing ideas for the future and taking part as Rose-Hulman
celebrates the expansion of learning with exciting new facilities.

During Homecoming festivities, 2011, Dr. Kaku visited the new
Student Innovation Center. Along with then-president Matt Branam,
Kaku participated in a ribbon-cutting for the building
