The scholarship winners are Lawrence North High School graduate Sabre Evans and Vinh Dao, who graduated recently from Arsenal Technical High School.

Each scholarship covers full-tuition for four years at the private engineering, mathematics and science college.

Evans graduated in the top 20 percent of her high school graduating class. She was a leader in the Lawrence North Peers Educating Peers program and was a member of the school choir. Evans will major in mechanical engineering at Rose-Hulman.

Dao was a member of the National Honor Society, an officer in the school's Junior ROTC program, and a member of the soccer team. Dao will pursue a bachelor's degree in civil engineering.

Rose-Hulman is currently hosting the Colts summer training camp for the eighth consecutive year. The camp ends on Aug. 19.

Rose-Hulman President Gerald Jakubowski welcomes nearly 600 employees, alumni and community leaders to the annual Colts Training Camp dinner.

Evans and Dao were honored Aug. 2 during the annual Colts Training Camp dinner sponsored by Rose-Hulman. Nearly 600 Rose-Hulman employees, alumni and Terre Haute community leaders attended the dinner at which Colts President Bill Polian was the featured speaker.

This is the second consecutive year the full-tuition scholarships for two freshmen have been awarded.
