Outreach & Engagement Efforts Featured in Life Sciences
Lunch Series

Talent and resources available at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology to
help life sciences organizations bring their creative ideas to successful
business enterprises will be featured in the Indiana Health Industry Forum's
Life Sciences Lunch Series on Tuesday, June 16, at Barnes & Thornburg's law
offices in Indianapolis. The series will be available for viewing at remote
sites throughout Indiana by video conference.

Thomas Mason, professor of engineering management and economics, will join
representatives of Purdue University's Pharma TAP program and Indiana
University's Kelley School of Business in making presentations about
outreach and engagement programs on their campuses.
Mason will showcase Rose-Hulman's new Office of Outreach and Rose-Hulman
Ventures programs as ways that the college can assist Indiana's life
sciences companies.
The Office of Outreach facilitates campus expertise and offers specialized
short courses to meet company's needs.
Meanwhile, Rose-Hulman Ventures provides innovative solutions to real-world
projects for technology-driven Indiana companies and entrepreneurs. The
results-driven enterprise has outstanding students and project managers, and
incorporates professional practice experience into the world's best
undergraduate education in engineering, science and mathematics. Rose-Hulman
Ventures has had several success stories during its 10 years of existence.
The Indiana Health Industry Forum and Barnes & Thornburg present a monthly
seminar series on critical issues in life science. Each month, during lunch,
a policymaker or a panel in the field of the life sciences will be available
to answer questions concerning the major challenges and opportunities in the
life science industry.
