Bischak, a junior, moved up from his 16th starting position
to finish third in the EMF Corp 125, a 125-lap feature race on July 4 at his
home track, the Angola (Ind.) Motor Speedway. He earned the Lane
Automotive/ISKY Racing Cams Hard Charger Award and a Hoosier Racing Tire
Performance Award.
Earlier, Bischak placed fifth in the Five Star Racing Bodies 75 SUPERPRO
series race on June 20 at Baer Field Speedway in Fort Wayne, Ind.
The CRA Super Series (www.craracing.net) features several full-time
professional racers, which has Bischak racing alongside and placing higher
than multiple series champion Scott Hantz. The next series event will be
Sunday at Plymouth (Ind.) Speedway.
Bischak hopes his mechanical engineering degree from Rose-Hulman will
enhance his motorsports career. He is also a two-year member of the
college’s cross country and track teams, helping the track squad win two
Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference championships.
