Semiconductor Industry Veteran, Rose-Hulman Alumnus Takes Helm at Minco Technology

alumnus Bill Bradford has been appointed president and chief
executive officer of Minco Technology Labs LLC, a leading die
processing, packaged solutions and test services manufacturer
within the hi-reliability marketplace.

Bradford has a proven track record of execution and leadership
in the semiconductor industry and brings 25 years of expertise in
building organizations and developing channels, alliances and
strategic partnerships for leading semiconductor companies,
including Entropic Communications, Freescale Semiconductor, ON
Semiconductor, Cypress Semiconductor and Texas Instruments.
"Bill's history of successfully building and leading
organizations and driving business domestically and internationally
will be a tremendous asset to Minco's growth strategy," stated
Keith Kolerus, chairman of the Minco board, in a company news
release. "Bill brings a strong combination of
experience and energy that will be instrumental as we expand our
ability to serve the high reliability market."
Most recently, Bradford was the senior vice president of
worldwide sales for Entropic Communications, where he oversaw the
doubling of revenue over a two-year period. Prior to this, he
held various executive positions at Freescale Semiconductor, most
recently as senior vice president-Americas, sales and marketing and
global distribution. He improved sales force effectiveness
and grew direct and channel sales through demand creation focused
programs. Prior to Freescale Semiconductor, Bradford served
as senior vice president, sales and marketing for ON Semiconductor,
where he rebuilt the global sales and marketing team. He also
spent over 10 years at Cypress Semiconductor in a variety of senior
positions, including vice president of European sales and
marketing. He began his semiconductor sales career with Texas
Instruments.

Bradford in the news release. "Minco has a strong legacy
serving the high reliability market, with many untapped
capabilities to expand our support and offerings for key customers
going forward."
Bradford is a 1986 Rose-Hulman alumnus. He went on
to earn a master's degree in management from the University of
Alabama.
Minco, headquartered in Austin, Texas, is a fab-less assembler,
processor and value-added distributor of mission critical
semiconductors and components used in military and aerospace
applications as well as medical equipment, down-hole drilling
equipment and other applications requiring high-reliability
components. Minco's products include cutting edge technology,
as well as hard to find, obsolete high reliability products for
multiple applications. The company's products are used in
both new sub-assemblies as well as in the replacement market.
