Alumnus Wes Bolsen Named VP & CMO for Leading Biotechnology Company

Codexis, Inc. has named Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology
alumnus Wesley Bolsen as vice president and chief marketing
officer. In this new position, Bolsen will have
responsibility for the company's corporate marketing and
communications. He will report to Alan Shaw, president and
chief executive officer.

Bolsen is a widely recognized marketing executive in the global
biofuels industry. He joins Codexis from Coskata, where he
most recently served as chief marketing officer. While at
Coskata, from 2007-2011, he also held the senior management
positions of vice president of government affairs and vice
president for business development. Previously, he was chief
financial officer for ICM, Inc., and a senior consultant for
McKinsey & Company.
A 2000 electrical engineering Rose-Hulmann graduate, Bolsen was
named the Top CMO in the United States in 2011 by the Chief
Marketing Officer Institute, and is an executive board member of
the Renewable Fuels Association, a former board member of the
Advanced Biofuels Association and a founding member of the Advanced
Ethanol Council. He earned an MBA from the Stanford Graduate
School of Business.
