Alumnus Steve Brewer Named Chief Technology Officer of Lynx Technology Partners

A 15-year career in developing leading software products has led 2001 computer science and mathematics alumnus Steve Brewer to become held chief technology officer of Lynx Technology Partners. He is supporting the company's growing business in the field of information security and risk management.

Brewer has had multiple technology management positions, previously being director of development for Projekt202 Dallas, co-founder of Front Desk, vice president of engineering for security-works of Lumension, senior director of product development for TuneIn (formerly RadioTime), and development manager for Expedia.

Brewer specializes in information technology governance, risk management, and compliance (IT GRC) software solutions.

At Front Desk, Brewer led the creation of its market-leading SaaS product, and helped the company raise $8 million in venture-capital funding while assisting to expand sales growth. He led technology leader Lumension with expertise in endpoint management and security, and was responsible for the development, integration, and marketing of security software solutions that help businesses protect their vital information and manage critical risk across network and endpoint assets.
