Call for Papers:
Undergraduates are encouraged to submit abstracts of papers, in any area of the mathematical sciences, for presentation.  Faculty are encouraged to suggest to their students that the undergraduate mathematics conference at Rose-Hulman would be an appropriate place to present a topic on any (mathematical) topic of interest to the student.  In order to celebrate mathematics done by undergraduates, all of the talks at the conference, with the exception of our invited talks, will be given by undergraduate students.

The presentations, which will be 15 minutes long (plus 5 minutes for questions) could include (but are not limited to) topics from algebra, calculus, geometry, history of mathematics, graph theory, mathematical modeling or any other topics in mathematics.  Please look at the previous conferences to see the titles of previous talks and the abstracts of talks. There is no registration fee for those students presenting talks and free housing will be provided at local colleges for all students attending the conference.  The title and brief abstract should be submitted no lated than Monday, February 28th, 2000.

Abstracts: For students who will present a talk, the title and an abstract should be electronically mailed to David Finn at
David.Finn@Rose-Hulman.edu    Please include requests for special equipment needs.
