Positions in Mathematics Department - Fall 2012

Tenure Track Positions (multiple)  We invite applications for tenure track positions at the Assistant Professor level for the Fall of 2012 in the Mathematics Department at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology.

Candidates are expected to have a strong commitment to excellent undergraduate teaching and continued scholarly and professional development.  We are seeking individuals who will interact well with students and faculty in science and engineering programs. All areas of the mathematical sciences will be considered, though preference will be given to candidates whose background and expertise fill areas of need within the department. For one of these positions an individual with expertise in applied statistics is desired to support our statistics program consisting of eleven probability and statistics courses primarily at the upper division.

Successful candidates will have, by Fall 2012, a Ph.D. in mathematics, applied mathematics, statistics, or closely related field.
