Application Process Students apply for the grants by writing a proposal for their research in conjunction with their mentor. The proposal must include a narrative, a budget of supplies to be used, and letters of support from the mentor and host department. In the spring of each year a request for proposals will be sent to all students. The RFP will give the complete details of what is to be submitted and the deadline.
To get some sense of the scope and type of research a list of past research projects is given on the previous awards page. Reports of previous grants may be obtained for the grant administrator.
