Transportation
The closest major airport is Indianapolis, which is about 70 miles east of Terre Haute. If you do not rent a car and need to be picked up from the airport, please let us know as soon as you have booked your flight, so we can make arrangements for transportation from and to Indianapolis airport on Thursday and Sunday. During the conference, we will provide a shuttle service between the Terre Haute conference hotels and the Rose-Hulman campus, located about four miles from the conference hotels.
Hotels and Directions
We have reserved blocks of single and double rooms for Wednesday (10/3) through Saturday night (10/6) at the hotels below. Please contact the hotels directly bearing the cut-off days in mind. When you make your reservations, please mention the HTA or Humanities and Technology Conference to receive the rate quoted below.

All conference hotels are centrally located at the intersection of I 70 and US highway 41. When traveling east (from St. Louis) or west (from Indianapolis) on I 70 take exit no. 7. All hotels are within a quarter mile of the exit. If you approach Terre Haute from the North or South proceed on US highway 41 until you get to I 70 overpass.
